Location: New Westminster
Seize a rewarding full-time position as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in New Westminster, BC. This role focuses on advancing pharmaceutical care through collaboration and expertise in the clinical setting.
As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, you will consult with healthcare professionals and provide clinical guidance based on evidence-based evaluations. You will participate in patient education while developing drug therapy guidelines and ensuring quality assurance programs are met. Your contributions will play a key role in enhancing patient care and therapeutic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Consult and collaborate on pharmaceutical care for patients
• Attend patient care rounds and provide drug information
• Engage in quality improvement and audit activities
• Lead education sessions for pharmacy staff
• Initiate and manage clinical drug research projects
Requirements:
• Valid Pharmacist registration with the College of Pharmacists
• Completed an accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
• One year of pharmacy experience in relevant specialty
