Position: Personal Support Assistant at AgeCare
Location: New Westminster

Make a difference at Age Care as a Personal Support Assistant, where you will provide hands-on nursing and personal care to residents in a nurturing environment. Ensure comfort and well-being while promoting health and independence.

As a Personal Support Assistant, you will report to the Director of Care and assist with tasks outlined in residents' care plans.

Your role is essential in maintaining a warm and safe atmosphere, supporting daily activities and fostering connections with those you serve. Through your compassionate approach, you'll guide residents and assist with essential tasks to enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one care and emotional support to residents

• Assist with safe lifts and transfers of residents

• Support residents during meals with safe feeding techniques

• Organize living spaces and restock supplies as needed

• Participate in interdisciplinary care meetings when necessary

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required

• Progress towards Personal Support Worker program preferred

• Volunteer experience with seniors is an asset

• Strong communication skills and empathetic approach

• Desire to work in a service-driven environment
