Compassionate Personal Support Assistant

Join Age Care as a dedicated Personal Support Assistant, providing one-on-one care and support to seniors. Help foster a warm and safe environment focused on wellness and comfort.

In this rewarding role, you'll report to the Director of Care and assist with nursing and personal care tasks tailored to residents' needs. Your responsibilities will include safe lifts and transfers, guiding residents to activities and meals, and offering companionship. This role emphasizes a person-centered approach, ensuring each resident feels valued and cared for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual care services to residents daily

• Assist with transfers and safe mobility for residents

• Guide residents to activities and dining areas

• Support residents with feeding and meal preparation

• Participate in interdisciplinary care meetings as needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required

• Enrolled in a Personal Support Worker program is an asset

• Experience working with seniors preferred

• Strong communication and empathetic skills

• Desire to contribute in a service-driven environment
