Occupational Therapist for Mental Health Services

Make a difference as an Occupational Therapist within Fraser Health's Mental Health program, focusing on client recovery. Provide evidence-based support both in-person and via virtual services.

Fraser Health is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team.

Your role will involve conducting assessments, planning tailored interventions, and collaborating with other health professionals to support clients on their recovery journeys. You'll engage directly with clients and community agencies to enhance occupational performance and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess client's occupational performance and environmental supports

• Provide tailored group and individual therapy sessions

• Consult with clients and their support systems on recovery goals

• Develop and coordinate rehabilitation programs with diverse stakeholders

• Report on progress towards service delivery goals

Requirements:

• Full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC

• Experience in mental health or substance use environments

• B.C. Class V Driver's License and access to a vehicle

• Familiarity with psychiatric rehabilitation methods

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
