At Sage Medical Center, a subsidiary of Primacorp Ventures, we area community pharmacy with a dedicated focus on seniors care and assisted living, providing comprehensive medication management to residents across retirement homes and supportive living communities. Working as part of an integrated multidisciplinary care team alongside physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals, our clinical services include compliance packaging, Meds Checks, minor ailments assessments, and vaccine administration.
We are looking for a pharmacist who shares our commitment to clinical excellence in seniors living.
Position :
Pharmacist (Full-time or Part-time)
Reports to :
Pharmacist Manager
Salary Range : $50.00 - $57.00 per hour
Your Day to Day
Supervise, train, and support pharmacy staff to maintain a high standard of customer service and operational efficiency. Manage scheduling, conduct performance reviews, and implement workflow improvements to ensure a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
Oversee all pharmacy operations to ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations, including proper storage, dispensing, and documentation of medications. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and best practices to ensure safe and accurate patient care.
Provide clinical services including medication reviews, medication adaptations, and prescribing for certain conditions.
Collect and review relevant patient, drug, and disease information to ensure appropriate therapy.
Process and review prescriptions, assisting pharmacy assistants as necessary.
Identify actual and potential drug therapy problems, collaborating with healthcare professionals as needed.
Provide patient counseling and respond to inquiries from patients and healthcare team members.
Recommend appropriate over-the-counter (OTC) products, vitamins, and supplements.
Administer vaccines and other medications in compliance with BC Pharmacy Regulations.
What You Bring to the Table
Proficiency in speaking Korean (required for effective communication with patients).
Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC.
Certified to administer injections in BC.
Current and up-to-date OAT training certification from the College of Pharmacists of BC.
Familiarity with Kroll Program, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Strong commitment to professionalism, with a demonstrated dedication to patient care and well-being.
Self-directed, able to work independently, and meet deadlines efficiently.
