Position: AgeCare Royal City HCA Role
Location: New Westminster

Join Age Care Royal City as a Health Care Aide, focusing on providing compassionate care for residents. Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver essential services and support.

As a Health Care Aide (HCA) at Age Care, you will be integral to our resident care team. You will leverage your experience to ensure individual needs are met, providing daily care and assistance under the supervision of a Staff Nurse.

Your role involves direct support for personal comfort, nutritional needs, and mobility within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with bathing and personal hygiene for residents

• Support resident transfers safely using equipment

• Help residents during meal and snack times

• Implement routine treatments under nurse supervision

• Facilitate resident mobility and participation in activities

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of experience in care environment

• Completion of a PCA/HCA Certificate Course

• Active registration with the College of Health Care Aides

• Fluency in English is required

• Post-secondary education is beneficial
