Become an Optical Associate at FYidoctors - Campus - SFU and enhance patient eyewear experiences daily. Use your expertise to deliver exceptional service in a vibrant clinic.
This full-time position involves 30-40 weekly hours, focusing on patient interactions and eyewear selections. You will educate patients, interpret prescriptions, and ensure accurate fittings and adjustments for eyewear. Manage billing and support the clinic with various operational tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients warmly upon arrival.
• Educate patients on appropriate eyewear options.
• Interpret and implement optical prescriptions effectively.
• Measure and fit eyewear to ensure comfort.
• Handle billing for patients and their insurers smoothly.
Requirements:
• Optical or retail experience is an asset.
• Strong multitasking skills in busy environments.
• Familiarity with MS Office and clinic software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Team-oriented with a proactive approach to challenges.
