Part Time Mobile Laboratory Assistant

Location: New Westminster

Contribute to patient care as a Part Time Mobile Laboratory Assistant with Life Labs. This role involves phlebotomy, specimen collection, and building meaningful relationships with patients daily.

At Life Labs, you’ll play a vital role in delivering on-site care across various settings including private homes and long-term care facilities. This part time position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to patient privacy. You must also have experience in phlebotomy and a valid driver's license to manage daily appointments effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize daily visits for specimen collection

• Perform phlebotomies and ECG tracings accurately

• Ensure specimens are delivered and prepared for testing

• Schedule and confirm patient appointments effectively

• Liaise with facility staff and physicians for scheduling

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved Laboratory Assistant program

• At least three years of driving experience

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record

• Phlebotomy experience and communication skills

• Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
