Monarch House is looking for a part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for their clinic in Burnaby. This role involves direct interaction with patients, carrying out treatment recommendations, and collaborating closely with the SLP team. Ideal candidates will support therapy goals for diverse age groups, providing valuable assistance in a caring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement SLP treatment plans and therapy sessions
• Document progress notes reflecting patient performance
• Develop intervention materials with SLP guidance
• Maintain patient confidentiality during all interactions
• Collaborate with the SLP team to enhance patient experience
Requirements:
• Secondary courses in linguistics or language development
• Post Graduate Certificate in Communicative Disorders is an asset
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Experience with school-aged children preferred
• Effective communication skills for patient interaction
