Become a Behavior Interventionist at Monarch House, where you implement tailored programs alongside a senior clinical team. This part-time, clinic-based role focuses on skill development and reducing maladaptive behaviors.
As a Behavior Interventionist (BI), you will work within an interdisciplinary team to execute programs designed by specialists such as speech pathologists and occupational therapists.
Your role is pivotal in supporting clients' skill acquisition and fostering an engaging atmosphere during sessions. Embrace the challenges of a fast-paced environment while adhering to clinical guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement behavior modification programs as directed
• Use strategies to support clients in adapting their behavior
• Collaborate in developing tailored skill reinforcement plans
• Maintain client safety and well-being at all times
• Provide personal care support as needed
Requirements:
• 1-2 years’ experience with children having complex needs
• Education in Psychology or similar fields preferred
• Clear Criminal Record Check required
• Strong communication skills in English
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder is a plus
