Recreation Aide at Fairview Manor

Fairview Manor, a part of the Mississippi River Health Alliance, is seeking a dedicated Recreation Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate has a Degree or diploma in Recreational Therapy and two years of experience in a hospital or long-term care setting. You'll work collaboratively with a caring staff to ensure a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for our 112 residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute recreational activities for residents

• Collaborate with the care team to enhance resident well-being

• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures

• Document each resident's participation and progress

• Assist with mobility and transportation as needed

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Recreational Therapy or similar

• Two years of experience in healthcare setting

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and RAI-MDS knowledge

• Class “F” driver’s license valid and in good standing

• Strong empathetic and caring attitude towards residents
