In this role, you will utilize your Master's degree and experience to assess and coordinate care for children facing severe mental health challenges. You'll collaborate with psychologists and psychiatrists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on both psychosocial assessments and behavioral interventions. Your capabilities will directly impact the lives of youth as you navigate complex emotional and behavioral issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of children
• Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members
• Facilitate family sessions, parent groups, and psychoeducation
• Participate in case conferences to ensure continuity of care
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in an Allied Health discipline
• Three years of experience in a mental health setting
• BC Driver’s License for local travel
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health treatments
• Strong communication skills with families and multidisciplinary teams
