In this innovative position, you will function as a consultant and educator, applying advanced pharmaceutical theories in practice.
Your role will consist of working closely with healthcare professionals to enhance patient safety through drug therapy evaluations and providing training to pharmacy staff. Contributing to clinical research initiatives, you will also ensure optimal medication management in diverse specialty areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert consultations for complex pharmaceutical cases
• Conduct educational sessions for medical and pharmacy staff
• Participate in audits to uphold quality assurance standards
• Oversee drug therapy guideline development
• Engage in clinical drug research and publish results
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Pharmacist in British Columbia
• Completion of an accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree
• One year specialty pharmacy experience required
