Community Occupational Therapist Role

Become a vital part of Fraser Health's commitment to recovery as a Community Occupational Therapist. Facilitate impactful therapy services focused on mental health and engagement in community living.
Your role will include assessment and intervention for clients in mental health and substance use programs, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to foster a supportive environment. You will actively engage with clients to establish treatment goals and recovery plans that respect their individuality and needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions
• Work with agencies to enhance service delivery
• Document and analyze client progress and outcomes
• Educate staff on best practices in rehabilitation strategies
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals
• Two years of recent, relevant experience
• Valid B.C. Driver's License and personal vehicle
• Strong understanding of current rehabilitation practices
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
