You will perform critical pre-hospital care while interacting with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes. In this role, you will provide education, execute emergency medical responses, and support patients through various health journeys. Your contributions will be vital to the communities served by WAHA.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute on-site pre-hospital care according to guidelines
• Collaborate with primary care and allied health staff
• Provide post-discharge follow-up and wellness checks
• Deliver general emergency medical services when necessary
• Address local public health needs and resources
Requirements:
• Must meet Ambulance Act qualifications
• Valid A-EMCA certification within 60 days
• Diploma in Paramedicine and certification for defibrillation
• Experience in administering symptom relief drugs
• Fluency in Cree is advantageous
