This full-time, long-assignment role supports safe medication use and promotes health and wellness among patients. Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and an active license or eligibility for licensure with the Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator. You will leverage your expertise to dispense medications, provide critical information, and engage in evidence-based decision-making to enhance drug use evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver holistic medication management to patients
• Promote effectiveness and cost-efficiency of medications
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes
• Contribute to practice-based research initiatives
• Uphold safety and ethical practices in pharmacy
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Nova Scotia
• Two years of relevant pharmacy experience
• Basic Life Support certification essential
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
