In this dynamic position, you will assess community needs and coordinate oral health promotion programs across various demographics, including children and seniors. Your work will involve direct engagement with community members, contributing to the effectiveness of primary health care initiatives. Active participation in team-based care will enhance your impact on community health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct oral health assessments and program delivery
• Coordinate educational activities and community outreach
• Develop oral health presentations for targeted groups
• Consult with stakeholders and community partners
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary health team
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized Dental Therapy or Hygienist program
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license necessary
• Strong facilitation and presentation abilities
• Knowledge of current oral health research
• Ability to work autonomously and within teams
Drive positive health changes in Weyburn as a dedicated Health Educator.
