Part-Time Medical Laboratory Technologist Hematology

Join Life Labs as a Part-Time Medical Laboratory Technologist in Hematology, located in Burnaby, BC. This role is essential for performing clinical tests and maintaining a high standard of laboratory practices.

As a key member of the Life Labs team, your responsibilities will include executing clinical testing and operating laboratory equipment. Adhering to strict safety and quality protocols, you will contribute to continuous improvements in laboratory processes. This position offers flexibility with shifts from mornings to nights throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute clinical testing and accurately report patient results

• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment

• Conduct quality control procedures and investigations

• Support the implementation of new methods and reagents

• Manage test processes using laboratory information systems

Requirements:

• Certification with CSMLS or registration through CAMLPR

• Relevant experience in a laboratory setting preferred

• Strong organizational and analytical abilities

• Familiarity with laboratory software and Windows systems

• Collaborative and independent worker in a fast-paced environment
