As an Unregulated Care Provider, you will be integral to the health and wellness team, reporting directly to the Health and Wellness Manager. You will deliver personalized care that includes helping residents with ambulation, preparing nutritious meals, and monitoring their well-being.
Your role is essential in fostering a safe and positive environment for seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care and document according to standards
• Collaborate with the clinical team for resident transitions
• Prepare meals and assist with daily living activities
• Report any concerns and escalate emergencies
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure a safe environment
Requirements:
• Completion of Personal Support Worker program or related training
• Previous experience with seniors in health services
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Obtain Vulnerable Position Screening within 6 months
