Position: LifeLabs Patient Technician Role
Enhance patient experiences as a Patient Technician with Life Labs in New Liskeard, Ontario. This part-time position is vital for ensuring accurate specimen collection and patient care.

As a Patient Technician, your role will span greeting patients, performing tests, and ensuring documentation precision. Your ability to empathize and communicate effectively will play an essential role in the patient journey s role includes critical responsibilities aimed at maintaining patient trust and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and inform patients about the specimen collection process

• Carry out phlebotomy and connect/disconnect holter monitors

• Conduct clinical trial test collections and complete necessary paperwork

• Manage client inquiries and strengthen relationships

• Prep specimens for accurate and efficient testing

Requirements:

• Graduation from a recognized Laboratory Assistant program

• Experience in phlebotomy or ECG an asset

• Good typing skills at 40 wpm minimum

• Strong customer service skills in stressful situations

• Ability to ensure patient privacy is maintained
