Join the Police - Youth Services unit to deliver direct, confidential counselling services. Ideal candidates will possess a Master's Degree in Psychology or Social Work, complemented by significant experience. Your expertise will help children, youth, and families navigate behavioral challenges through assessments and therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical counselling to children and youth
• Conduct assessments to inform intervention strategies
• Engage families and guardians in counselling sessions
• Maintain detailed records and prepare reports
• Operate independently with minimal supervision
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Psychology or Social Work
• Registered designation from a professional association
• Experience in clinical counselling with youth
• Knowledge of BCACC's Code of Ethics
• Valid BC Driver’s Licence and eligibility for security clearance
Utilize your counselling skills to support youth and families in Burnaby's community.
