As a Registered Pharmacy Technician with Care Rx in Burnaby, BC, you’ll provide critical support in medication distribution tailored to complex patient needs. This role focuses on improving clinical outcomes through your expertise in geriatrics and mental health. The collaborative culture prioritizes your clinical skills in a setting distinct from retail pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Staff Pharmacist in patient prescription preparation
• Confirm and validate all prescription information
• Ensure accuracy in prescription data in Kroll and eMAR
• Perform final checks on pharmaceuticals before distribution
• Uphold confidentiality and cleanliness in the pharmacy
Requirements:
• Valid registration with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
• Knowledge of relevant pharmacy systems an asset
• Previous experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
