Detailed OverviewReporting to the Supervisor, Radiological Technology and the Site Coordinator, Medical Imaging, the Radiological Technologist practices in accordance with professional standards and the vision and values of Fraser Health. The Radiological Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic/fluoroscopic and medical imaging procedures and related duties, observing safe radiation protection practices. Duties include receiving requisitions, entering data into the Radiology Information System (RIS), preparing patients for examination, operating imaging equipment, processing radiographs, archiving data, monitoring patients, maintaining equipment performance, and maintaining cleanliness of examination rooms.
