At Queen’s Park Care Centre in New Westminster, we are looking for a passionate Recreation Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. This position focuses on the assessment and implementation of recreation therapy plans, enabling patients to reclaim their social and leisure functions after hospitalization. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of patients' social and leisure skills

• Develop recreational programs that meet individual needs

• Participate in team conferences to enhance patient care

• Educate families about the therapeutic recreation process

• Document patient outcomes and maintain records systematically

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Therapy

• Minimum one year experience in Therapeutic Recreation

• Must fulfill BC Therapeutic Recreation Association membership criteria

• Foodsafe Course Level 1 certification

• Access to a vehicle with a valid BC Driver's License
