Community Substance Use Clinician - Indigenous Focus

Candidates for this position must hold a Master's degree in Social Work or a similar field, alongside two years of relevant experience. This role involves providing client-centered therapy, conducting assessments, and navigating complex service networks, all while respecting Indigenous cultural contexts and values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform assessments and engage with clients from diverse backgrounds
• Deliver therapy interventions for individuals and groups
• Assist in coordinating referrals to treatment services
• Record client assessments and treatment progress
• Collaborate with health professionals to optimize care
Requirements:
• Master’s in relevant social or health fields
• At least two years’ related experience in mental health
• Familiarity with Indigenous health and harm reduction strategies
• Valid B.C. Driver’s License for client visits
• Experience with mental health assessment methodologies
Provide effective and compassionate support to the Indigenous community through your clinical expertise.
