Enhance patient care as a Casual Respiratory Aide at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, with a pay rate of CAD $27.56 per hour.

Your role will involve directly managing respiratory supplies and equipment.

At Royal Columbian Hospital, you’ll play a pivotal role in collecting, cleaning, sterilizing, and delivering respiratory supplies to support patient care. Additionally, you will maintain inventory levels, perform daily checks on oxygen tanks, and address any equipment issues. Strong organizational skills and effective communication are key in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and clean respiratory equipment using established methods

• Deliver assembled equipment to patient areas

• Daily check and replacement of oxygen tanks

• Report malfunctioning supplies and replace worn parts

• Maintain a tidy storage and work area

Requirements:

• Graduation from a recognized Sterile Supply program

• One year related experience or equivalent training

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Physical ability to fulfill job requirements

• Skills in organizing and operating medical equipment
