Position: Rehabilitation Assistant with Fraser Health
Location: New Westminster

Join Fraser Health as a Rehabilitation Assistant in Port Moody, B.C., where you will support clients in their recovery and enhance their quality of life. Engage in meaningful interactions while assisting therapists in rehabilitation tasks.

In this role, you will implement individualized treatment plans, document patient progress, and adapt care based on their needs. Working under therapists, your focus will be on providing effective support to clients, enabling them to regain functional independence. Your thorough understanding of rehabilitation techniques will greatly assist those in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute treatment plans in home and community environments

• Report on client progress and changes effectively

• Assist in the adaptation of individualized care plans

• Facilitate activities that foster independence in clients

• Maintain supportive relationships throughout rehabilitation

Requirements:

• Completion of a Rehabilitation Assistant Program

• At least one year of relevant clinical experience

• Valid BC Driver’s license and access to a vehicle

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Familiarity with assistive rehabilitation devices
