Burnaby Hospital is currently seeking Casual Rehabilitation Assistants to support therapeutic rehabilitation under professional supervision. Your primary duties will include executing treatment plans and observing patient progress. Contributing to a diverse healthcare team, you will ensure quality patient care and facilitate meaningful recovery experiences through your proactive engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out rehabilitative tasks as assigned by therapists
• Document patient progress and report observations
• Provide training in mobility and daily living skills
• Prepare therapeutic modalities as instructed
• Assist in equipment maintenance and setup tasks
Requirements:
• Completed Rehabilitation Assistant Program or equivalent
• Excellent communication abilities
• Physical capacity to fulfill job responsibilities
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience in a healthcare role appreciated
