Bayshore Health Care is seeking an experienced Registered Health Care Aide to provide one-on-one support to clients in Burnaby. This role demands professionalism and compassion, focusing on activities of daily living, mobility, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will foster a respectful relationship with clients, ensuring they maintain their dignity and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver personalized support as per the care plan
• Assist clients with daily living activities
• Promote social engagement and community participation
• Maintain professional documentation and communication
• Observe and report changes in client conditions
Requirements:
• Two years of experience as a Health Care Aide
• Graduate of a recognized HCA or equivalent program
• Current CPR and Emergency First Aid certification
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
