Become a Housekeeping Aide at Southbridge Care Homes in Lakeshore, Ontario, where you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining a hygienic environment for our residents. Delivering consistent cleanliness is key to ensuring quality care.
Reporting to the Environmental Service Manager, you'll be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks and stocking supplies. This includes disinfecting shared spaces, handling laundry services, and managing trash disposal. Your efforts in creating a clean atmosphere contribute to residents' comfort and safety in their living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform cleaning duties throughout the property
• Sanitize kitchens and bathrooms regularly
• Wash and prepare towels and linens for use
• Manage trash disposal effectively
• Assist with laundry duties and report issues
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Professional, detail-oriented, and confidential
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physical tasks
• Must complete a vulnerable sector check and TB test
• Open to providing quality care in a long-term setting
