About the RoleThe Program Manager, SFU Cyber Clinic is responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of the SFU Cyber Clinic program. The role oversees program operations, stakeholder relationships, and the student and external partner experience, ensuring the program is delivered effectively and sustainably within established University frameworks. A key focus of the role is building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners, sector collaborators, and community stakeholders.
The Program Manager supports partnership development, coordinates engagement activities, and represents SFU in external forums to advance the visibility, reputation, and impact of the Cyber Clinic.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computing Science, Engineering, or a related field, and four years of relevant experience in program or project management, business development, partnership development and community engagement, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Leadership and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build effective partnerships across academic, administrative, and external stakeholders.
- Advanced relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with demonstrated ability to negotiate with external organizations.
- Knowledge of business development practices and community engagement approaches to support program growth and sustainability.
- Understanding of the cybersecurity landscape in British Columbia and Canada.
- Experience in program evaluation and continuous improvement, including the ability to analyze data and implement strategic enhancements.
