As a Microcomputer Support Specialist 2, you will address first-level technical inquiries and issues related to multimedia computers and audiovisual setups.
Your role will include investigating and resolving software and hardware malfunctions, installing and configuring software, and providing operational support for live events. You will also maintain asset inventory data and develop user aids to enhance communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to user inquiries and resolve multimedia software issues
• Install and configure software applications and system updates
• Provide operational support for audiovisual components and live events
• Test new equipment and applications for functionality
• Maintain and update the asset inventory data
Requirements:
• One-year certificate in computer sciences or related discipline
• Strong audio-visual experience and technical knowledge
• Familiarity with installation of video conferencing and PA systems
• Experience with IT Service Management Systems
• Valid Driver’s License for British Columbia
