Enterprise Systems team oversees the university's enterprise resource planning systems. It's an Agile team of People Soft experts, who is leading the charge in enhancing the SFU experience with modern IT solutions within Oracle Peoplesoft Enterprise Systems, including Campus Solutions, Human Capital Management, and Finance and Supply Chain Management systems available to SFU students, faculty, and staff
About the Role
Primarily responsible for the analysis, design, modification, and maintenance of application programs, integrated systems, customizations or bolt-on solutions for the Enterprise Systems group within IT Services. The role provides expert-level assistance to application developers in system design, interoperability, and optimization for the Oracle Peoplesoft Enterprise Systems, including Campus Solutions, Human Capital Management, and Finance and Supply Chain Management; as well as integrations among these systems or with other systems in the University.
The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for assisting other technical staff within the unit with configuration, deployment and support of supporting infrastructure that supports operational stability, scalability, and ability to keep systems.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Computing Science or related discipline and eight years of related experience in developing, deploying, supporting, and maintaining complex ERP, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
