Senior Systems Specialist, FP&A

We are looking for a Senior Systems Specialist, FP&A to join our FP&A Systems team. This role is for someone who is passionate about building innovative solutions and tackling new challenges while making an impact across the organization. Candidates located near one of our hubs (Burnaby, Calgary, Toronto) are expected to work in the office at least twice per week.

• Design, develop, maintain, and administer the EPM platform (Pigment) and related systems.
• Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and business leaders to enhance financial planning, reporting, and forecasting processes.
• Configure and optimize the EPM platform to support budgeting, scenario modelling, and financial analysis.
• Develop scalable workflows and automation to improve efficiency and data integrity.
• Support end users by providing training, documentation, and troubleshooting for FP&A systems.
• Collaborate with IT and other system teams to integrate EPM data across platforms.
• Act as the architectural subject matter expert for the EPM solution.
• Maintain FP&A integrations with connected applications (Net Suite, Workday, SFDC, Looker).
• Evaluate business processes and develop process improvements to optimize FP&A tooling.
• Create and manage issues within the roadmap, prioritise by severity, and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Manage user tickets, provide technical support and resolve bugs related to the EPM solution.
• Administer user licenses and permissioning, ensuring controls for data integrity.
• Document application development processes, procedures, and standards.
• Develop and deliver instructional materials to enable system adoption.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and partners independently to scope and develop solutions.

Note:

This role is a backfill for an existing position.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience designing and implementing EPM solutions.
• Proven experience developing models for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Extensive experience aligning application development with business needs.
• Solution‑oriented personality with strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

• Extensive experience developing and administering solutions in Pigment.
• Prior experience working with or closely alongside FP&A teams.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
• Experience designing systems with strong internal controls.

The $114,500 – $154,900 CAD range represents the salary band for this role. Salary for other regions will be based on local currency and experience.
