Join Remitly's Identity & Trust Analytics Team as a Fraud Data Analyst. Utilize analytical methods to tackle global fraud challenges while ensuring legitimate customer experiences.
In this key role, you will harness your analytical skills and knowledge of fraud taxonomies to enhance fraud detection systems. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Compliance to tailor fraud models, analyze data from various platforms, and monitor fraud exposure through data-driven dashboards. Your insights will significantly influence strategies and automation aimed at securing customer interactions against fraud.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze chargebacks and promo abuse trends
• Develop fraud detection models and dashboards
• Partner with teams to optimize KYC and compliance workflows
• Evaluate A/B tests for fraud control effectiveness
• Track risk metrics on fraud exposure and compliance
Requirements:
• 3+ years in fraud or risk analytics in fintech
• Proficient in SQL with Python/R experience preferred
• Strong understanding of fraud taxonomies
• Excellent communication and data storytelling skills
• Degree in mathematics, engineering, or relevant field
