Microserve seeks a Printer Deployment Technician for a four-month fixed-term agreement in Burnaby, BC. The work includes assembling printers, connecting devices to customer networks, installing drivers, and transferring settings or data. You will support printers, multi-function devices, copiers, and plotters at healthcare, government, and post-secondary institutions. This assignment requires travel and client-site presence.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble, configure, and install printers for deployments
- Connect devices to customer networks and install drivers
- Provide basic product training using field procedures
- Correct service problems with assigned products
- Follow escalation procedures for customer issues
- High school diploma or GED required
- Demonstrated Windows and network connectivity competency
- Printer assembly or repair experience
- Customer-facing technical competence and communication skills
- Valid unrestricted driver’s license and satisfactory record
