Microserve seeks a Printer Deployment Technician for a four-month fixed-term agreement in Burnaby, BC. The work includes assembling printers, connecting devices to customer networks, installing drivers, and transferring settings or data. You will support printers, multi-function devices, copiers, and plotters at healthcare, government, and post-secondary institutions. This assignment requires travel and client-site presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble, configure, and install printers for deployments
Connect devices to customer networks and install drivers
Provide basic product training using field procedures
Correct service problems with assigned products
Follow escalation procedures for customer issues
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Demonstrated Windows and network connectivity competency
Printer assembly or repair experience
Customer-facing technical competence and communication skills
Valid unrestricted driver’s license and satisfactory record
