Support workstation operating systems and network software deployment as an Application Support Technician in Burnaby, working temporary full-time hours.
Burnaby School District seeks an Application Support Technician through June 30, 2027. The position covers installation, support, and upgrades for workstation operating systems and applications. You will assist with hardware troubleshooting and collaborate with Network Support Technicians on system research, design, and testing.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and support workstation operating systems
- Upgrade operating systems across managed workstations
- Deploy software applications across the network
- Assist with hardware troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Research, design, and test new systems collaboratively
- Two-year recognized IT-related technical program graduation
- Recent relevant certifications and three-and-a-half years’ related experience
- Knowledge of application delivery and policy structure management
- Ability to manage workstation devices across large networks
- Valid British Columbia Class 5 driver’s license
