Position: Lloyd’s Underwriter with Specialty Focus
Join us as a Lloyd's Underwriter in either our Burnaby or Victoria office, focusing on specialty insurance. Drive profitability through underwriting and broker engagement.

This role as a Lloyd's Underwriter involves comprehensive responsibility for underwriting and managing specialty insurance business. You will analyze risks, negotiate terms, and maintain compliance with Lloyd's standards. Building strong relationships with brokers will be integral to support long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate new business and policy renewals

• Prepare and bind quotes for coverage

• Issue policies and ensure documentation accuracy

• Process endorsements and policy changes

• Conduct renewal and performance reviews

Requirements:

• Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation required

• Minimum 3 years of underwriting experience

• Knowledge of Lloyd's compliance and operations

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Effective communication and relationship management abilities
