As our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) you will focus on the establishment and optimization of strategic and day‑to‑day insurer relationships supporting sales growth targets. In this role, you will report to the President and work closely with the National CMO, Sales Leaders, and Operational Leaders across HUB Canada. This full‑time regular position is based out of our Burnaby location and includes oversight of our Commercial Placement, Real Estate Underwriting, In‑House Underwriting and Claims Divisions.

The CMO role is accountable for strategy, execution and review of HUB’s insurer relationships regionally with the goal of maximizing effectiveness of our partnerships. The ideal candidate has a strong network of insurers, budgeting and forecasting experience, financial insurance acumen and strong people leadership.

Minimum 10 years of P&C commercial insurance experience, with significant time in a brokerage or carrier environment

Minimum 5 to 7 years in a senior leadership role with direct accountability for team performance, financial results, and strategic planning

An established and active network of insurer and carrier relationships in the BC and broader Canadian market

Demonstrated experience in financial planning, contingent income analysis, and contract negotiation

Technical insurance contract review experience (DUAs, binding authorities, program agreements) is a strong asset

Experience with large commercial placement, specialty lines, or in‑house underwriting programs is preferred

Familiarity with EPIC or comparable insurance broker management systems

Post‑secondary education or commensurate professional experience
