Purchaser II

Position: Purchaser II at LMI Technologies
Join LMI Technologies as a Purchaser II and leverage your expertise in electronics and optics within a hybrid work environment. This role focuses on end-to-end supply chain management, from negotiations to supplier evaluations.

We are looking for a motivated Purchaser with at least three years of relevant experience to enhance our Purchasing team. You will report to the Purchasing Team Lead, engaging closely with R&D and other teams to develop product strategies. Your responsibilities will include managing purchase orders and maintaining optimal stock levels across your assigned parts portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct purchasing activities following QMS standards

• Negotiate pricing and delivery with suppliers

• Generate and issue Purchase Orders per MRP requirements

• Monitor delivery timelines and quality compliance

• Evaluate supplier performance and report findings

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years purchasing or supply chain experience

• Relevant post-secondary education required

• Experience with ERP and MRP systems preferred

• Solid interpersonal and computer skills

• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems
