Facilities Procurement Manager JIBC

Location: New Westminster

Lead procurement strategies at the Justice Institute of British Columbia as the Facilities Procurement Manager. Ensure compliance and deliver value in contract management across diverse facilities operations.

In this full-time role, you'll oversee procurement and contract management activities pertinent to capital projects and ancillary services lab orating with Facilities leaders and external partners, you will drive fair and transparent procurement processes, managing selections and contracts to achieve quality and sustainability outcomes. Your leadership in the Purchasing Department is crucial for continuous improvement and impactful procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement procurement strategies for facilities operations

• Manage competitive procurement processes including RFPs and RFQs

• Select vendors and oversee contract terms and risk

• Foster strong supplier relationships and collaboration

• Guide staff in the Purchasing Department and Central Stores

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field

• Five years of experience in procurement management

• Professional certification in supply chain or procurement

• Strong knowledge of public sector procurement legislation

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems
