Contracts Specialist for Major Projects

Trans Mountain Corporation is seeking a motivated Contracts Specialist to enhance Major Projects. This full-time position involves managing major contract deliverables effectively while fostering collaboration in an in-office work setting.
In this critical role at Trans Mountain, you will utilize your expertise to lead contract packages from strategy development to post-award administration. You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Project Management, and other stakeholders, ensuring that governance, commercial, and risk management requirements are met throughout the procurement process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead major contract packages from development to post-award administration

• Prepare RFP and contract documents, ensuring clarity and compliance

• Develop supported auditing materials for transparent procurement decisions

• Integrate Indigenous procurement requirements into contract strategies

• Review supplier pricing structures to ensure competitiveness
Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management or related fields

• Minimum 10 years of progressive procurement experience

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Commitment to inclusive practices in the workplace

• Willingness to travel and support outside regular hours
