Buyer II for Quantum Systems

D-Wave is searching for a Buyer II to enhance our Supply Chain team in Burnaby. In this key role, you will partner with engineering to secure essential materials for cutting-edge quantum computing. Your ability to manage pricing, vendor negotiations, and procurement processes will be vital for the team’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with R&D and Production to ensure material availability

• Generate and manage requests for quotes and purchase orders

• Maintain accurate procurement records and resolve discrepancies

• Develop strong supplier relationships for cost and quality improvements

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field

• 3+ years' experience in engineering or manufacturing procurement

• Familiarity with ERP systems and strong analytical skills

• Proven experience with supplier negotiations and process improvements

• Ability to thrive in dynamic environments with strong attention to detail
