Flex-N-Gate, a top supplier in the automotive sector, is seeking a knowledgeable Senior Buyer to enhance our metal components procurement. This role requires a thorough understanding of metal manufacturing processes alongside proven negotiation skills. You will manage supplier relationships and ensure high quality, cost-effective solutions in support of our automotive production needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop sourcing strategies for metal components and raw materials
• Evaluate and onboard suppliers meeting quality and cost targets
• Lead RFQs/RFPs, benchmarking, and cost modeling initiatives
• Monitor suppliers' financial health and geopolitical risks
• Analyze commodity trends and manage pricing adjustments
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
• 8+ years of purchasing or sourcing experience
• Demonstrated experience in sourcing metal components
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
