Position: Maintenance Worker for Residential Properties
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to ensure the efficient operation of our residential properties in the Burnaby area. This role combines general maintenance, plumbing repairs, and grounds upkeep, all vital for resident satisfaction.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this position involves hands-on tasks like electrical installations, equipment troubleshooting, and maintaining safe living environments.

Your role will be integral in improving tenant safety and comfort through consistent upkeep and attention to detail in maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform physical repairs on plumbing and electrical systems

• Maintain safety standards through equipment inspections

• Oversee general grounds maintenance and landscaping tasks

• Complete maintenance records accurately and timely

• Assist in moving furniture and equipment as needed

Requirements:

• Two years of related maintenance experience required

• Grade 10 education or equivalent

• Valid BC Driver’s Licence

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

• Excellent communication skills with tenants and staff
