Lead facility management at YMCA's John Island Camp in Spanish, ON. This full-time contract role involves planning and overseeing maintenance for a safe and clean camp environment.
The Facility Manager is critical for maintaining the safety and functionality of camp facilities at YMCA John Island. You will be responsible for supervising staff, conducting daily inspections, and coordinating maintenance operations. An emphasis on health and safety compliance will ensure a welcoming environment for all campers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily site inspections and maintenance tasks
• Oversee cleaning and upkeep of all facilities
• Manage maintenance schedules and staff training
• Coordinate ordering of facility supplies from the mainland
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
• College diploma in a skilled trade is an asset
• Experience in mechanical repairs and maintenance
• Supervisory experience in cleaning operations
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR C certification
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
