Maintenance Technician

We are on the hunt for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to oversee essential maintenance and repairs in our residential properties located in Burnaby. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, you will perform building maintenance, minor electrical and plumbing work, and groundskeeping duties. This position demands attention to detail ensuring the safe operation of equipment and a pleasant environment for tenants and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct general building maintenance and repairs

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment

• Install and repair electrical components and fixtures

• Perform painting and flooring maintenance

• Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities

Requirements:

• Grade 10 education with 2 years of related experience

• Valid BC Driver’s Licence

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Knowledge of health and safety standards
