Senior Living Housekeeping Aide

Location: New Westminster

Support a vibrant senior community as a Housekeeping Aide r primary responsibility will be to ensure cleanliness and safety in both resident apartments and communal areas.

In this role, you will adhere to cleaning schedules using appropriate methods, ensuring that all areas are well maintained. You'll operate necessary cleaning equipment and follow safety protocols while working with vulnerable adults. Participation in ongoing training is required to improve the quality of care provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean personal and shared spaces according to schedules

• Utilize floor care machines for effective maintenance

• Perform scrubbing and buffing on various surfaces

• Document tasks as per residence policy

• Participate in required training and meetings with staff

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills in English

• Familiarity with institutional cleaning techniques

• Experience in healthcare or commercial cleaning preferred

• Capacity to work solo and meet physical demands

• Must obtain a recent Vulnerable Sector Check
