Position: Burnaby Maintenance Technician Full-Time Role
New Vista Housing seeks a Maintenance Technician for a full-time position in Burnaby. This role focuses on essential maintenance tasks, supporting tenant safety and the efficient operation of residential facilities.

As a skilled Maintenance Technician, you will perform various duties including plumbing repairs, electrical installations, and grounds maintenance. You’ll report to the Facilities Manager and maintain a careful record of all maintenance activities. Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills are crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle general repairs and maintenance issues in buildings

• Perform plumbing and electrical repairs as needed

• Conduct safety inspections of equipment and facilities

• Maintain grounds and manage outdoor maintenance tasks

• Keep accurate maintenance records and report issues

Requirements:

• Valid BC Driver’s Licence required

• Grade 10 education and two years related experience

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

• Strong time management skills and attention to detail

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
